In some cases, if you take your car to an independent body
shop, you'll most likely get aftermarket car parts. Is there anything wrong with that? Does a less expensive part mean a
poorer-quality part? One thing you
absolutely DON’T want to do is pay for a part to be installed and then pay
again later just because the part was defective.
An aftermarket part is any part for a vehicle that is not
sourced from the car's maker. There are
many companies that makes parts designed to function the same way. They are usually less expensive. But then the quality may vary greatly as
well, as there are an overwhelming number of choices. Not only that, but is the warranty the same?
We here at Arrow Body and Fender recommend OEM (original
equipment manufacturer) parts. We
believe that the slight extra cost up front will be more than offset by the peace
of mind you will have driving around with the same parts that were originally
designed for your vehicle. Stop by our
shop located at 7536 W. Grand Ave. in Elmwood Park or call (708) 456-9424.
