In Like a Lion…Out Like a Lamb.

Don’t count on it, Chicagoland.  March does not conform to the standard expectation.  As spring approaches what should we expect?  Well morning lows should be around freezing on average (if there is such a thing as average around here) while afternoon highs should rise into the fifties.  Not bad, not bad at all.

Here may be the problem.  Chicago area roads are liable to ice over during the night making driving conditions problematic at best.  The truth is, over the years we have experienced temperatures in the single digits.  The thermometer has even gone as high as 88 degrees.  Put away your swimsuit and stay out of Lake Michigan for now!

The reason we bring this up is that you may need us before March has run its course.  Perhaps you were driving on a previously clear, clean road one day, then overnight that road froze over and made driving very hazardous.  If you have collision damage, please remember the name Arrow Body and Fender at 7536 W. Grand Ave. in Elmwood Park.  Call (708) 456-9424.

It’s Pothole Season.

Whoopie, it’s that time of year again!  Winter snow and ice give way to big, fat, nasty, potholes around the highways and byways of Chicagoland.  Last March the city announced in that it would resurface well over 100 miles of potholes, but in truth that would not even put a dent in the problem.

This spring should be no exception.  Over the first two months of 2018 there were no less than 11,706 pothole complaints!  That was an increase of nearly 15% over 2017.  You can be sure that the percentage is unlikely to go down in 2019.  Chicago area drivers can file a claim to recoup some of the costs that come from damaging one’s vehicle due to a pothole.

Do your research if your vehicle has come out on the wrong end of a Chicagoland pothole.  Then, let us help you get your car back on the road running as well as ever.  We are Arrow Body and Fender.  We have been fixing pothole damage caused to Chicago vehicles for many decades from our shop at 7536 W. Grand Ave. in Elmwood Park.  Call us at (708) 456-9424.

Trust the Man with the Star.

Remember the old television ad with that slogan?  In this case the “star” belongs to Arrow Body and Fender and their Star Liner Frame unibody rack.  They take great pride in applying the unibody rack to reshape your frame back to its original dimensions.  No detail is left to chance with Star Liner!

The Star Liner reshapes your vehicle’s frame BEFORE the parts are removed.  Then the folks at Arrow confirm beyond a shadow of a doubt that it meets the structural dimensions that were originally set by the manufacturer.  What is true about any solid structure is that it is only as strong as its foundation.

The patriarch Joe Sr. taught his people that over 70 years ago when he founded Arrow Body and Fender.  Today, the same attention to detail as well as the most up-to-date equipment are maintained to help them remain one of Chicagoland’s premier auto body shops located at 7536 W. Grand Ave. in Elmwood Park.  Call ahead at (708) 456-9424.

How About a Free Tow?

It does not sound like much fun on the surface.  No one wants their car towed in the first place, but if you have an accident on the slippery winter streets of Chicagoland it would be nice to know that IF you need to be towed to an auto body repair shop it would be one thing that you would never have to worry about paying for.

If you call one of the approved companies of Arrow Body and Fender in many cases, we will pick up the cost of the tow.  Why pay more than you need to?  You may even qualify for free towing AND free storage!  Just visit our website at arrowbodyandfender.com for all of the details on free towing and storage under the free towing tab.

At Arrow Body and Fender located at 7536 W. Grand Ave. in Elmwood Park we have prided ourselves in doing the job from start to finish better and less expensively than most other Chicagoland body shops.  You just want to get back on the road with a ride that looks as good as new.  We understand that.  Give us a call at (708) 456-9424.

Some Will Tell You, We Can’t Do That Here.

You never want to hear those words.  You go to your bank seeking a safety deposit box and they say, “We can’t do that here.”  You go to the dentist to have a tooth pulled and they say, “We can’t do that here.”  You ask your landscaper to trim the trees on your land and they say, “we can’t do that here.”  It is all very frustrating!

When you have to take your vehicle into the shop for autobody repair and there are some mechanical repairs that need to be made you need the peace of mind that comes with knowing that shop will repair all collision and mechanical related damage.  No one wants to take their vehicle to two or more shops to get the work done!

At Arrow Body and Fender, we pride ourselves in being able to do the ENTIRE job if it is doable.  Usually it is.  Our founder, Joe Bellocchio Sr., founded this company more than 70 years ago on the premise that we would become Chicagoland’s full-service body shop.  You may visit our facility located at 7536 W. Grand Ave. in Elmwood Park or call (708) 456-9424.
