Whoopie, it’s that time of year again! Winter snow and ice give way to big, fat,
nasty, potholes around the highways and byways of Chicagoland. Last March the city announced in that it
would resurface well over 100 miles of potholes, but in truth that would not
even put a dent in the problem.
This spring should be no exception. Over the first two months of 2018 there were
no less than 11,706 pothole complaints!
That was an increase of nearly 15% over 2017. You can be sure that the percentage is
unlikely to go down in 2019. Chicago
area drivers can file a claim to recoup some of the costs that come from
damaging one’s vehicle due to a pothole.
