Auto Body Shop Repair Estimates…They May Vary Greatly.

If and when you get into an automobile accident around Chicagoland, one of the first steps you’ll take towards making it like it never happened at all is getting a repair estimate.  The truth is this process can seem daunting and most people don’t know what to expect.  At most places the uncertainty begins there.

It’s tempting to turn to Google to get an idea before your actual appointment with the estimator. While there are several online car repair estimation tools available, proceed with extreme caution!  Although some of these might be able to give you a rough estimate of what you could expect, you should by no means count on them.

At Arrow Body and Fender they use something called The Mitchell Estimating System.  This is one of the most customer-friendly devices in the industry.  No one wants to be shocked when all the work is said and done.  Count on a fair and reasonable estimate from Arrow Body and Fender located at 7536 W. Grand Ave. in Elmwood Park.  Please call (708) 456-9424.

Alignment Problems after an Accident.

The process of aligning a collision-damaged vehicle is much more involved than performing a traditional maintenance alignment.  If you haven’t hit anything, the technician can make many assumptions.  However, making assumptions about a collision-related four-wheel alignment will put some shops on a crash course.

The first step is to realize that alignments for collision-damaged vehicles aren’t the same as those performed for consumer maintenance alignments.  Once again, if you haven’t hit anything, then many assumptions can be made by the alignment technician.  Suspension parts and structural areas haven’t moved, been damaged or been repaired.

Knowing how to provide various services is the job of a great auto body shop.  When your family has been in this game for over seven decades you get pretty good at it!  We are Arrow Body and Fender located at 7536 W. Grand Ave. Elmwood Park.  We have been one of the very best and most reliable shops in Chicagoland since the late ‘40s.  Call us at (708) 456-9424.

Take Andy and Barbara’s Word for It.

Huh?  Who are Andy and Barbara?  They are just two of the many people whose testimonials you can read on arrowbodyandfender.com.  This website holds the truths and history of what this family-owned auto body repair business has done for thousands of Chicagoans for many, many decades.  Here are some excerpts.

Here is what John said…"I can’t thank you enough for what you did…You did an incredible job."  Diana exclaimed…"The entire experience was friendly and helpful from start to finish."  Rose had this to say…"My husband, Bob, had a lot of respect for your family and business.  I now know why."

Our late founder, Joe Bellocchio Sr., would not have had it any other way.  In 1948, Big Joe (as he was known) struck out on his own and opened Arrow Body and Fender Service on Maplewood and Fullerton in Chicago.  Today we are located at 7536 W. Grand Ave. Elmwood Park serving Chicagoland with the finest auto body repair service available.  Please call (708) 456-9424.

Finish the Job with Pride.

That’s what the folks at Arrow Body and Fender have done for more than 70 years in Chicagoland.  Auto body refinishing is the repairing of worn or damaged automobiles, light trucks, and other vehicles, and refers to any coating applications that occur in the repair process.

This covers solvent emissions from the refinishing of automobiles, including paint solvents, thinning solvents, and solvents used for surface preparation and the subsequent clean-up that entails.  There are tens of thousands of auto body shops operating in the United States.

Arrow Body and Fender made a pledge to its customers in the Chicago area many years ago.  They said (and put in writing) that they would use top-of-the-line AXALTA refinishing products and NEVER substitute cheaper alternatives.  That’s just another reason you can count on Arrow Body and Fender of Elmwood Park.
