Taking the Mystery out of Auto Body Repair.

Have you ever walked into the office of an auto body repair shop and seen nothing more than a waiting room and a desk?  That is the norm, isn’t it?  Sure, the shop does not want you to see its technicians doing the actual work.  Why not?  Wouldn’t it more comforting to see the crew at work as opposed to guessing what is going on behind closed doors?

There is an auto body repair facility in the near-west suburbs of Chicagoland that believes in transparency.  When you walk through the front door you see a living, breathing, working body shop.  We not only encourage you to see our work, we will even invite you back to explain the work that is in progress on your vehicle.  Now, that’s revolutionary!

For seven decades the professionals at Arrow Body and Fender have been proud to show off our work.  Our staff is trained in all of the up-to-the-minute innovations of the repair of damaged cars, SUV’s, and pick-up trucks.  Before choosing the right shop, stop in if you wish, at 7536 W. Grand Ave. in Elmwood Park and see for yourself.

It’s All About Family.

This time of year, it really is all about family.  Families gather together to celebrate the holidays and remember the good times of 2017.  We hope that this year’s get-together will be a joyous one for you and yours.  Our family is known as the Bellocchio’s.  We have been in the auto body repair business for seven decades.

It all began right after World War Two when grandpa Joe Sr. returned from active duty defending our country’s freedom.  He was searching for an opportunity to serve his friends in Chicagoland.  He worked for his father at Bellocchio Salt and Trucking Service.  He learned from the very best masters of auto body repair.

In 1948 he struck out on his own and the rest is history.  Today, Arrow Body and Fender is managed by his son Joe Bellocchio Jr.  The only thing that has changed is the technology…NEVER our commitment to getting Chicagoans back on the road with a beautifully restored vehicle.  Happy Holidays from our family to yours!

You Make the Call.

It is an old “Monday morning quarterback” phrase.  You make the call refers to your choice as to which way the play should be called.  As it pertains to auto body repair you have the right to “make the call” as well.  When an insurance adjuster confines you to just one or two choices after an accident please know that YOU have a choice!

Here are things you need to know after an auto accident -

1.  By law, you may have your car towed to and repaired at any repair facility you choose.
2.  Only one estimate is required to determine the amount of damage.
3.  Make sure that the insurance company pays for all covered repairs.
4.  Choose a repair shop carefully. Your future safety depends on it.

What this means is that many people are intimidated into going to the specific repair shop that their insurance company insists on.  Don’t fall into that trap!  Please know that Arrow Body and Fender has been Chicagoland’s choice for auto body repair for seven decades.  Get to know them by visiting www.arrowbodyandfender.com.

Revisiting Body Shop History.

We have done this before in this space, but we feel that longevity has great merit in the auto body industry.  When you have attained seven decades of excellence within a family we think it is worth “crowing about”!  That’s right it was 70+ years ago when Big Joe Bellocchio returned from WWII and began his tenure at Utility Trade School.

From there, Big Joe struck out on his own in 1948 and opened Arrow Body and Fender Service in Chicago.  This was a guy that jumped in with both feet, constantly learning every state-of-the-art innovation in auto body repair.  Business became so good that in 1963 Big Joe moved his business to a spacious new location in Elmwood Park.

Today, Joseph Jr. runs the show.  He started out as an insurance adjuster which is great for us as he knows BOTH sides of the industry.  In 1985, he joined Arrow Body and Fender to continue the family legacy of great auto body service.  The business continues to grow and prosper and is becoming an Elmwood Park landmark.  Give them a call or stop in at their 7536 W. Grand Ave. location for an estimate at (708) 456-9424.
