Revisiting Body Shop History.

We have done this before in this space, but we feel that longevity has great merit in the auto body industry.  When you have attained seven decades of excellence within a family we think it is worth “crowing about”!  That’s right it was 70+ years ago when Big Joe Bellocchio returned from WWII and began his tenure at Utility Trade School.

From there, Big Joe struck out on his own in 1948 and opened Arrow Body and Fender Service in Chicago.  This was a guy that jumped in with both feet, constantly learning every state-of-the-art innovation in auto body repair.  Business became so good that in 1963 Big Joe moved his business to a spacious new location in Elmwood Park.

Today, Joseph Jr. runs the show.  He started out as an insurance adjuster which is great for us as he knows BOTH sides of the industry.  In 1985, he joined Arrow Body and Fender to continue the family legacy of great auto body service.  The business continues to grow and prosper and is becoming an Elmwood Park landmark.  Give them a call or stop in at their 7536 W. Grand Ave. location for an estimate at (708) 456-9424.
