We hope it’s been a Safe Summer.

As the season begins to wind down and back to school is just weeks away we wanted to wish all Chicagoans a safe remainder of the summer of 2017.  More driving increases the chances of an accident.  If that were to occur we hope that you will remember the auto body shop that has been here for SEVEN DECADES!

Who is Paying for the Tow Truck?

That is not the first thing on your mind after an accident renders your vehicle undrivable.  It is however, a consideration that you wish you had thought of when you pay that towing bill.  So, who ultimately pays for the towing?  Most of the time, YOU DO.  Your insurance deductible makes that expense your responsibility.

You’ve been Framed.

No, this is not some old gangster movie.  We are referring to the part of your vehicle that is its most important safety feature.  It may roll down the road just fine, but if the frame is damaged then you are putting everyone inside at risk.  Consider the frame of your car as its skeleton.  It protects you in a collision.

If the frame is damaged is the car totaled?  We don’t know yet.  Some cars don’t appear to be frame damaged until a closer inspection is done.  A low-speed crash may be particularly dangerous because you might get a false sense of security.  When there is any suspicion of frame damage it is definitely NOT a DIY job!
