Applying a Clear Coat.

No, this is not about the transition from Winter to Spring in Chicagoland.  This is a reference to your car and the importance of restoring it to its original beauty after an accident…or just giving it a face lift.  After applying clear coat to a repaired or refinished area of a car, you're often likely to see a faint halo surrounding the outside edges of the repair.

This halo represents the area where the new finish and old paint come together, and until recently it has been somewhat unavoidable.  That is where the DuPont Clear Coat Blender comes in.  Used in conjunction with the clear, blender can help to create a more seamless, invisible repair - literally "blending" the old and new paints together.

This is a relatively new innovation in automobile restoration.  You see, you CAN teach an old dog new tricks!  We are Arrow Body and Fender serving Elmwood Park and much of Chicagoland with quality auto body repair for more than seven decades.  Let’s see what we can do to make your vehicle shine again.  Call us for an appointment at (708) 456-9424.
