History is our Pride.

Every now and then we like to focus on the history of Arrow Body and Fender.  We believe that longevity within a family is the backbone of a successful business.  Let’s go back 70 years when Big Joe Bellocchio opened Arrow Body and Fender Service located at the corner of Fullerton and Maplewood in Chicago.

After 7 years in the city Big Joe looked to the west and what was then the remote western suburb of Elmwood Park.  Then, eventually he moved the entire business to this beautiful, growing suburb in 1963.  At the time, the Grand Avenue location was an empty lot across from the train station where he had re-located his family.

Fast forward to the dawn of 2019.  Now, Joe Bellocchio Jr. keeps the family tradition thriving with the latest equipment and techniques in auto body repair.  Oh yeah, you don’t survive seven decades on just good looks!  Discover what your father and his father knew decades ago.  When you need auto body repair you call Arrow Body and Fender at (708) 456-9424.

How do Collision Repair Techs Match Paint Color?

Job one for a collision repair professional is to restore your vehicle to its original, naturally appealing beauty.  Some of the best collision repair technicians can even make a damaged car look brand new.  To perfectly restore dents, dings, and scratches on the body of your car, collision technicians need to apply a coat of paint, which sometimes is easier said than done.

IF a vehicle already had a custom paint job, it is more difficult for collision repair technicians to find matching colors to complete their job.  With some of the more advanced practices that are used by collision technicians in modern-day garages, it is possible to match almost any paint color on a vehicle that needs a new coat.

Great news Chicagoland!  Arrow Body and Fender Service uses a chromavision color scanner.  What does that do?  Well, it ensures that your automotive refinish is a perfect match to your vehicle’s original color.  Come by our shop located at 7536 W. Grand Ave. Elmwood Park or give us a call at (708) 456-9424.
